चोरों ने दुर्गा मंदिर का ताला तोड़कर चांदी का छत्र सहित साठ हजार से अधिक की नगदी उड़ाई
मसूरी। मसूरी देहरादून मार्ग पर बड़े मोड़ के निकट माता दुर्गा मंदिर में विगत रात्रि चोरों ने मंदिर का ताला तोड़ मंदिर में रखे दान पेटी का ताला तोड़ कर साठ हजार से अधिक रुपए और चांदी के छत्तर चोरी कर लिया। पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंच कर चोरी की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
बड़ा मोड़ स्थित दुर्गा मंदिर में चोरी की इस घटना को लेकर लोगों में खासा आक्रोश व्याप्त है और शीघ्र चोरों की गिरफ्तारी की मांग की गई है। बताया गया कि प्रातः साढे़ पांच बजे जब मंदिर के पुजारी द्वारा मंदिर का गेट खोला गया था ताला टूटा हुआ मिला और अंदर रखा सामान भी गायब था। इसकी सूचना उन्होंने मंदिर समिति को दी उसके पश्चात पुलिस को सूचित किया गया मौके पर पहुंचकर पुलिस ने घटना में प्रयुक्त हथौड़े को अपने कब्जे में लेकर जांच शुरू कर दी है। इस बारे में जानकारी देते हुए मंदिर के पुजारी आचार्य दुर्गा प्रसाद जोशी ने बताया कि प्रतिदिन की तरह है सुबह साढे़ पांच बजे मंदिर में पहुंचे जहां पर मंदिर के गेट का ताला टूटा हुआ था और अंदर सारा सामान बिखरा हुआ था। उन्होंने बताया कि मंदिर में दान पात्र में लगभग साठ हजार रुपए और मंदिर में छत्तर एवं अन्य सामान भी गायब है। उन्होंने बताया कि अगले महीने स्थापना दिवस पर भंडारा किया जाना था जिसको लेकर दानपात्र नहीं खोला गया था जिसमें पूरे वर्ष भर का दान रखा गया था। मंदिर समिति के सदस्य सुनील गोयल ने बताया कि मंदिर में चोरी की घटना से श्रद्धालुओं में आक्रोश है क्यों कि इस मंदिर के प्रति लोगों में बड़ी आस्था है। इस बारे में जानकारी देते हुए कोतवाल डीएस कोहली ने दूरभाष पर बताया कि मामले की जांच की जा रही है और शीघ्र ही इसका खुलासा कर दिया जाएगा।
